How much does it cost to rent a dirt bike for a day?

From $140 for a Honda CRF125F up to $275 for a KTM 300SX. Most riders land on the CRF250F at $180 or the GASGAS and Husqvarna two-strokes at $210.

Is the deposit an actual charge?

No. It is an authorisation hold that reserves the amount on your card without taking it, released once the bike is returned in good condition. It runs from $100 to $400 depending on the machine.

Is the gear bundle cheaper than separate items?

Yes. Helmet, boots and a pants-and-jersey set come to $30 booked individually and $20 as the bundle, so if you are arriving with nothing it is the obvious choice.

Do you offer half days?

On the electric bikes and the KTM 300SX. The rest of the dirt bike fleet is booked by the full day. Paddle boards are available half day, full day or by the week.

How can I keep the cost down?

Ride midweek, take the bundle rather than separate gear, and book a half day on an electric bike if a couple of hours is all you want. Weekends in spring and autumn are the most expensive time to be indecisive.

Do you charge for a trailer?

$25 a day, with a $400 deposit hold. We only keep two, so if you need one, reserve it at the same time as the bikes.

About the deposit hold

A deposit hold is not a charge. It is an authorisation placed against your card that reserves the amount without taking it, and it is released once the bike comes back in the condition it left in. The amount scales with the machine, which is why a CRF125F sits at $200 and a two-stroke at $400.

What is not included

Utah sales tax is added at checkout. Fuel is your own, and state parks such as Sand Hollow charge a day-use entrance fee per vehicle that has nothing to do with us. There is no booking fee and no charge for the safety briefing.

How to spend less

Take the gear bundle rather than three separate items if you are arriving with nothing. Book a half day on the electric bikes if you only want a couple of hours. Ride midweek — spring and autumn weekends are when the fleet is tightest, and a Tuesday gives you a much better choice of machine.
