Why People Book With Us
We are a small Southern Utah crew, and we ride the same trails we rent for. That is the whole advantage: when you call and describe what you want out of a day, you get an answer from someone who was out at Sand Hollow last weekend, not a script. Bikes are serviced between every rental, gear is checked back in piece by piece, and if you are new to riding we will tell you so plainly rather than putting you on too much bike.

Common Questions
Everything You Need for a Southern Utah Trip
Bikes, gear and boards, rented from one shop in Apple Valley, Utah.
AlpMX Adventures is a rental shop in Apple Valley, Utah. We are about twelve miles from Hurricane, under thirty from St. George, and roughly thirty-five from the south entrance to Zion National Park. We rent the equipment that makes a Southern Utah trip work — dirt bikes, electric bikes, Zion Narrows hiking gear and paddle boards — so you can arrive, pick up, and go, instead of hauling all of it across the country.
Dirt bikes for every kind of rider
The fleet runs from beginner-friendly Honda four-strokes with mellow, predictable power — the CRF125F and CRF250F — up through race-bred two-strokes like the KTM 300SX, Husqvarna TC250 and GASGAS EX250. Most of the people who book with us have never ridden before, and that is genuinely fine. Tell us when you book and we will put you on the right machine rather than letting you guess. Every bike is serviced between rentals and goes out trail-ready.
Electric bikes, if you would rather skip the clutch
The Sur-Ron Light Bee X and the Rawr Mantis Mini have no gas and no clutch, which makes them the easiest way to get a first-timer or a younger rider moving. They are quiet enough for shared trails and simple enough to learn in a few minutes.
Gear to hike the Narrows
The Narrows is an upstream river hike over rock that is round, slick, and invisible under moving water. The gear that makes it comfortable is not the gear in your suitcase, and buying all of it for one hike rarely makes sense. We rent water hiking boots in sizes 7 through 14, extendable trekking poles, roll-top dry bags and sun hats, either as a Narrows bundle or piece by piece.
Where our customers ride and paddle
Sand Hollow and Warner Valley are the two big draws for riders — close enough to load up after breakfast and be on the trail before the heat arrives. For water, Sand Hollow Reservoir, Quail Creek and Gunlock are all a short drive from the shop, and our inflatable paddle boards pack down small enough for a normal car.
How booking works
Pick your dates first and the site shows you exactly which bikes and gear are free on those days. That is the fastest way to put a whole group on machines in one reservation instead of trading phone calls. Riding gear, hiking bundles and a dirt bike trailer can all be added to the same booking. If you would rather talk it through, call us at (385) 236-8086.
Bikes book out fastest on spring and fall weekends, when Southern Utah riding weather is at its best. If your dates are fixed, reserve early.
Riding areas we cover
We have written up the riding around each town in detail: St. George, Hurricane, Sand Hollow, Gooseberry Mesa, Toquerville Falls, and near Zion National Park. If you have never ridden, start with beginner rentals. Our full price list is published rather than hidden behind a quote form.
