The cabins at Gooseberry Lodges sit in between: free-standing cabins with their own porch, fire pit and parking, close enough to the park for an early trailhead start and far enough out that the sky actually goes dark after dinner.
Six sizes, from a bunkhouse to a full suite
Cabins run from a 96 square foot standard bunkhouse — a full bed, a twin in the loft, and a clean place to sleep before an early start — up to a 620 square foot one-bedroom suite with a separate bedroom, a full kitchen with stove and oven, and a washer and dryer. In between sit the deluxe bunkhouse, the Queen Lodge, a step-free ADA version of the Queen Lodge, and the Deluxe King Lodge with its own bathroom and kitchenette. The simplest way to choose is by bathroom and bed: Queen Lodge and up gives you real room to spread out, Deluxe King and up gives you a private bathroom and a kitchen.
What every stay includes
Linens and towels are made up before you arrive, Wi-Fi reaches every cabin, and every cabin has both heat and air conditioning, which desert nights genuinely require in both directions. Check-in is by door code sent the morning you arrive, so there is no front desk to reach before it closes and no fixed arrival window to drive against. The office and store stay open around the clock on that same code for firewood, cold drinks, and whatever got left at home.
A practical base for riders and hikers
There is parking for two vehicles at each cabin plus room for trailers, which matters if you are hauling dirt bikes out to Sand Hollow or Warner Valley for the day. On the property there is a covered pavilion with a grill, a playground, a pickleball court, cornhole, and coin laundry. Booking goes through the property's own reservation system.
